Mahalo!

The food was delicious. We ordered the food for a party of 17. everyone had their fill and we had lots of left overs for the five families who joined us. We had the largest Ohana combo, Kaulua pork and chicken Katsu.

This is my fifth time ordering from Mahalo because the experience has been consistently good for large groups.

The also have very reasonably priced musubi combos. The chicken Katsu musubi is amazing. Always a crowd pleaser.

Earlier delivery by an out 20 minutes, food was not hot but very warm. One thing I've noticed is the short ribs are chewier and more stringy, which makes me think I'll just go with the bbq beef even though it tends be be drier than the rib meat - oh well, the bbq chicken is constantly moist and tasty and there's lots of it. Order an extra side or two of the mac salad, the cooling mayo counters the savoriness of the bbq well.

Food was delivered 30 mins EARLIER than expected! This alone is worth a five star review. But the food was also hot and delicious. I had the fried shrimp and not only were the portions hefty but they were succulent and crunchy, even after being in a take away container. My bf had the BBQ mix plate and it was HUGE. The ribs were tender and the sauce was super flavorful. Also the musubi is top notch. Great, inexpensive dinner.

It has decent food and a large quantity for the amount you pay. Katsu is crispy. If you order a combo and want cabbage with your kalua pork, be sure to mention that in the notes when you order.

Delivery was late (20mins) but my guess is due to weather (raining heavily). Delivery is usually on time. No big deal. Food is always solid. My go to for Sunday morning breakfast.
